The student has a great opportunity to do the supervised internship in our 2 own hospitals. Currently, there are about 220 professionals guiding students in the hospital experience.
It is a chance to learn through practice and do good to those who need it most. Santa Casa Hospital, for example, is a unit that serves about 92% of the patients from the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS).
In addition, EMESCAM has laboratories with high technology equipment that are used in practical classes and research, such as Cell Biology, Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, Histology, Pathology, Pathological Anatomy, Immunology, Parasitology, and Microbiology.
