Phisiotherapy Clinic

Emescam's Physiotherapy Clinic offers low-cost care for a variety of specialties. The services are provided by students of the last years of the course, with the guidance of their teachers. The amount ​​is stipulated in the interview with the social worker through the analysis of income proof.

Procedures

In an ethical and professional approach, competences will be built related to theory and practice in the evaluation, elaboration and application of treatment for patients with musculoskeletal system disorders with practical indication and handling with the diversification of physical therapy rehabilitation methods such as: kinesiotherapy, electrotherapy, thermotherapy, phototherapy etc. with the goal of acting on the biopsychosocial aspects of the individual, monitoring the evolution of adult and geriatric patients in the reevaluations, and restructuring the therapeutic program with evolutionary reports.

In an ethical and professional approach, competences will be built related to theory and practice in the evaluation, elaboration and application of treatment for patients with musculoskeletal disorders and neurological dysfunctions with indication and practical handling with the diversification of physical therapy rehabilitation methods such as: kinesiotherapy, electrotherapy, thermotherapy, phototherapy etc. with the goal of acting on the biopsychosocial aspects of the individual, monitoring the evolution of adult and geriatric patients in the reevaluations, and restructuring the therapeutic program with evolutionary reports.

 

Practical application aiming to articulate theory and practice in order to guarantee the integrality of the care provided to neonatal, pediatric and adolescent patients, addressing respiratory and motor functions, with training in patient evaluation, selection of physiotherapy resources to be used, therapeutic programming, reevaluation and restructuring of the therapeutic program. With an ethical and professional approach, respecting the biopsychosocial-cultural aspects.

Application of the practical experience of the physical therapist in Women's and Men's Health considering the ethical, biopsychosocial, political-cultural and economic aspects, developed through outpatient physiotherapy assistance in patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, mastectomized and prostectomized patients based on the evaluation and application of physical resources in the treatment of those patients.

Application of the practical experience of the physiotherapist in the Elderly Health with a broad and global view, respecting the ethical / bioethical and cultural principles in the elderly with pathological and kinetic-functional alterations, either in their psychic and organic repercussions, aiming to preserve, develop, restore integrity of organs, systems and functions, able to make a physical and functional diagnosis, elect and perform physical therapy procedures and perform reevaluations.

In an ethical and professional approach, competences will be built related to theory and practice in the evaluation, elaboration and application of treatment for patients with diseases in the pneumofunctional system with indication and practical handling with the diversification of physical therapy rehabilitation methods such as: kinesiotherapy and maneuvers, bronchial hygiene in order to act on the biopsychosocial aspects of the individual with follow-up of the evolution of children and adolescents, adults and geriatric patients in the reevaluations, and restructuring of the therapeutic program with evolutionary reports.

Offer instrumentalization to students through knowledge for careful evaluation and understanding of the pathological process, so that they can propose the most effective form of physical therapy intervention.

Provide greater knowledge about the importance of senior dance, providing the development of attitudinal, scientific and senior dance skills to serve groups of active seniors and value the importance of physical therapy in the care of this group respecting the individual's situation, giving proper attention to their needs.

Improve the functional capacity and independence in the daily life activities of children and adolescents with physical disabilities, improving conviviality and social interaction, self-confidence and ability to face everyday obstacles and increase the power to create, imagine and achieve goals and stimulate discipline and learning.
